Orbit blocks ads, kills popups, and protects your privacy โ on Windows and Android. No extensions. No accounts. It just works.
The Android version is sideloaded โ it was removed from the Play Store because it blocks ads. When Play Protect warns you, tap "Install Anyway." It's safe.
Everything a modern browser should have. Nothing it shouldn't.
Ads, trackers, cookie banners, "open in app" popups, autoplay videos. Over 126,000 filter rules plus a self-learning engine that catches what filters miss.
Your passwords are encrypted with AES-256 and stored locally. Auto-fill, auto-save โ like Bitwarden, but built into the browser. We never see your data.
Sync bookmarks, passwords, and history between your phone and desktop โ over your local WiFi. No cloud. No accounts. Encrypted end-to-end with your passphrase.
Orbit works on your desktop and your phone. Here's what each version includes.
Windows 10/11
Android 8+
Your bookmarks, passwords, and history transfer directly between your phone and computer over your local WiFi. No servers. No accounts. Just a passphrase you choose.
AES-256-GCM encryption. Your passphrase never leaves your device.
Data never touches the internet. Both devices must be on the same network.
Auto-discovery finds your devices. One click to send, one click to receive.
Every browser has trade-offs. Most don't tell you. We do.
You can't install Chrome extensions. This is intentional โ extensions can access everything you browse, which makes them a security risk. Orbit already includes an ad blocker, password manager, and dark mode, so you shouldn't need them.
Orbit checks for updates automatically every few hours and downloads them in the background. You'll see a notification when a new version is ready โ just click restart to apply.
Your bookmarks and passwords sync between devices directly over WiFi โ encrypted with AES-256. We don't run sync servers. Your data stays on your devices.
When you first open the browser, the first video on some streaming sites might take a couple extra seconds to start. Orbit handles ad-related tokens in the background so the rest of your session stays clean and instant.
There's no way to switch between Work and Personal profiles yet. Incognito mode is available if you need a separate session. Multiple profiles are coming in a future update.
